Laura McCorry, LCSW, founder and therapist at A Moment in Time Therapy

Life happens. Pain is envitable.

Let’s process it together.

I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Laura McCorry, an EMDR therapist (and messy/relatable human) who specializes in helping milennial women navigate life after grief and trauma.

Grief and trauma can turn your entire world upside down.

They change everything you thought you knew about yourself, the world, relationships, and how deep pain really feels. When we experience the unimanginable, we grieve- we grieve the life we imagined, the person we used to be, and the relationships we had with others that now suddenly feel so surface-level because it feels like no one else ‘gets it.’ Whether you’re grieving a death-related loss, a non-death related loss, or feel overwhelmed with trauma, my hope for our moment in time together is that you will feel seen, supported, and able to express yourself openly without judgement.

We can’t ‘fix’ you because you’re not broken.

Here’s therapy to help you carry it by…

Processing intense grief and trauma emotions - anxiety, loneliness, anger, guilt, and sadness - where they’re welcomed, even if they’re not elsewhere.

Adapting to a new reality and identity after loss, while navigating relationship challenges.

Regaining a sense of safety in a world that now feels unpredictable and uncertain.

I’d love to hear from you!
